Unlike other tutors and tutoring services, Fred Ebert takes an individualized approach. He not only looks at skill sets of students, but also their respective problem solving abilities in order to determine how well the student can follow a “road map” to success. 

Being an IVY educated tutor, or stating that every tutor in one’s “bullpen” went to an IVY school is wonderful (Fred is Princeton educated both for his baccalaureate and graduate, doctoral education), but what is truly important is NOT where you went to school, but your experience. In his 40+ years of teaching, he has well over 50,000 hours of teaching experience. This is what he offers his students: multiple, successful ways to explain material. As Malcolm Gladwell suggests, it takes at least 10,000 hours to become a trained expert. Fred surpassed that mark decades ago!

Before our scheduled session, Fred will contact the student, at least twice (and preferably more) as he or she begins homework to see if any help is needed with comprehending any new material. Phone, virtual, and in-person meetings are all available. There is nothing standard or “canned” about our approach.
